Received definite, final confirmation today that I start at on the 13th June, beginning with the usual week at Yarnfield. I'd supplied all the pre-employment stuff ages ago, and my assessment was on the 9th March, in Edinburgh.

Just waiting for the travel information now...

You have to hear this week then as i was only two days before you. Hopefully you will hear by the end of the week. I'm just waiting on the contract to come through now she said this week or next.

Shugmc, how long did you wait for the contract to come through once you were given a date?

Thats when I start too! See you there! Still not had final confirmation but I called them the other day and just said its all fine. Glad people are starting to hear stuff now! I got told the other day by and engineer that the job sucks haha! Looking forward to it lol!

Just over two weeks, from passing the assessment, to verbal confirmation, and then getting the contract via email.

Wow, just over two weeks! Not much chance of you getting an ulcer playing the waiting game there then. It has been and continues to be in some cases, a real drama for some folk.
