Thanks all.
Incidentally, just stumbled on this:
http://www.cable-training.co.uk/media/1204/ctts-bduk...
Which looks like a list of all the answers one might like to have access to.
Pity it isn't free.

I'll take the comment as being intended that way although it's probably not overly wise in a charged environment with so much made up arguments out there on this debate.

In reply to a post by RobertoS:
What does the chain of symbols represent?

As I suspect you know, it's the old way of representing extreme disappointment.
In reply to a post by RobertoS:
As for your comment, that is something in your mind. Not in mine.

No dear, you posted an unnecessary, unhelpful, unfunny and completely off topic xenophobic remark.
In reply to a post by RobertoS:
It is indeed a humorous reference to the immigration debate...

This is a technical area of debate and your contribution was neither relative nor technical. What if the OP was a recent immigrant?
In reply to a post by RobertoS:
... As a response to a question about millions of simultaneous downloads I consider it reasonable..

I'm currently taking some pretty heavy medication that can cause extreme confusion but if you believe the above quote from yourself, then you either have a very warped sense of humour or a far more far out drug regime than I'm currently undergoing.

The mere mention of immigrants is NOT xenophobia. As it happens, the term millions seems to be about right too
12 MILLION Turks say theyll come to the UK once EU deal is signed

MORE than 12 million Turkish citizens are planning to move to Britain when the country joins the European Union, an explosive poll for Express.co.uk has revealed.

I only saw a newspaper headline, literally in passing a person who was carrying it. (This was after my post in question). Isn't the figure 2 million, not 12?

Thanks smile. The complainer has just made one valid point however, which I'm about to reply to.

Are you serious? Do you expect anyone to believe a Daily Express poll on immigration... Particularly one supposedly taken in Turkey?

Anyway, as previously stated, this thread is not the place for this discussion.
