Because this is a forum for broadband issues and the like, NOT for Openreach noobs to discuss their prospective training and the like.

But this thread IS for Openreach Noobs who are simply trying to gain some basic knowledge and hopefully not fall into the trap of making an ignorant comment to someone asking a simple questionsmile

Jajo, maybe some of the folk have now perhaps gleaned the information they required on their journey to becoming an Openreach Engineer and are currently wrapped up in thier training?

Great news, we could do with a bit more feedback from those who are or have received recent training just to get the heads up. Regarding the training locations, do you remain there 7 days a week or is it just 5 days Mon-Fri then return again after the weekend?

It is monday to friday once youve finished on friday you travel home in your new van provided you pass a driving assessment ( just to make sure your not a nutter) you then return to your training facility on sunday before midnight ready to start the next week

Cheers Crustalz for clarifying the residential arrangements. How are you finding the intial beginings of the course?
