With A&A it also depends on which wholesaler they place you on, as they use both BTW and TT (if available and depending on which is performing better in the locality) so additional work may be needed if they place you on TT.
Are you talking about ADSLx or FTTC? It makes a difference to the fundamentals of your OP .

As a matter of interest, if I were moved to TT which I understand is their business package. Could it affect my Line Sync speed?
ADSL2+ or VDSL2? If the former then AAISP now offer a 3db SNR profile on TT based short lines which could give you better ADSL2+ speeds: https://aastatus.net/2172
If VDSL2 then your sync speed should be more or less the same.
I think the choice between BTW or TalkTalk services depends mainly on the AAISP product chosen by the customer. Not on the relative performance of the two in the individual customer's area.
