Yeah I emailed them back after I phoned Flybe.
It's a Virgin service, leaves Manchester Picadilly at 17:15 and gets to Stoke at 17:49?

Hi guys!

Came across this forum via google as I'm looking for help and tips for the assessment day, I have read through 3 threads now and some great info to be had so thanks for that!

Just wonder if anyone could share on what kind of questions I can expect during the assesment, i have never experienced anything like an assessment so I am incredibly nervous! I currently work on the BT network as a contractor, the AAP contract replacing D Poles and have numerous BT accreditations such as cable jointing, pole climbing, dropwire and Ariel cable termenations etc but have been told none of this will really matter if i can't nail the customer service part of the assessment so I'm kinda freaking out about it frown

Cheers

Also as I side note I think every person in the previous thread has passed the assessment day so don't want to be the 1st to fail it lol

Ah, but you already have something none of them will have for ages ......
cable jointing, pole climbing, dropwire and Ariel cable terminations

Confidence to actually do the required work.

Yeah, I'm hoping they take that into account but a colleague told me they are more interested in customer service skills and say the stuff I know can be taught, maybe he just doesn't want to lose me haha

Just got some more details regarding induction and training, mostly confirming stuff we already knew. Has a rough timetable of the 9 weeks (last 3 1/2 just buddying).
