Also not sure how putting a machine in the DMZ would fix packet loss.

Neither am i smile That's what i hear gamers do these days, open ports and place the system of their choice into DMZ to improve their gaming experience. I'm no gamer, so wouldn't know. Was just an idea. I did see an interesting post on the bt forum regarding packet loss but wasn't sure if i was allowed to post it on this forum.

Good luck to you. Thankfully i've had no issues with them yet.

Have a look at that page, you could try your own troubleshooting following the same steps and you may be able to pass on relevant info to the Origin team.

Perhaps trying fastpath also as that's what gamers typically go for, for better response times.
Other than that, I have no clue.

Some may do that to get around problems with port forwarding/UPnP but its a lot rarer than it used to be.
