I had the same 16th of November which was the day I received the email from her lol. I know she has done a few typos of dates and times in previous emails so maybe she just typed it wrong?

on another note anyone know if we are going to be offered 18 month contracts or permanent ones, it was mentioned at the assessment centre.

That could be very possible I know I've done it in the past in my current job

I'm not sure about the contract length/type. I do remember not hearing anything about 18 month temp contract. So perhaps it's the latter I remember when I searched BT jobsite I searched permanent. Suppose it might vary by area.

I had my assessment on 2nd October in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.

Had an email couple days letter to say I had passed. Got another off Laura yesterday to say I'll know a start date within the next couple of weeks.

Can't wait for a start date now so I can proper get excited.

Any other Welsh folks here that has passed and waiting?

I've booked two weeks off for Christmas anyway so January wouldn't leave me with many shifts left in this place thankfully

I'm up in Scotland and unfamiliar with training places.

Yarnfield Stone is the only one I'm aware of but I think somebody mentioned one in Scotland either they were from Edinburgh and the course centre was Aberdeen or the other way round!
Anybody from Norfolk area who got through?

I'm in Scotland too, think we do a wee in yarnfield, travel downon train and drive home in your new van assuming you pass AA driving assessment then training is in Livingston before buddying in your local area, depends on how much space there is in Livingston though as have heard of folk doing all training at yarnfield.
