Windows 10 Wi-Fi - Plusnet ADSL2

A few weeks the PlusNet ADSL2 contract in our son's flat was renewed. At about the same time Windows10 did a major update. Not sure now which of these events happened first.

Since then, when used on the Wi-Fi network, three different W10 laptops have had erratic Wi-Fi performance. Many but not all pages do not load at all first time round. Home pages will load, but link pages will not display, or the images will not display. The problems occur on IE and Chrome.

The problem does not appear to affect Android phones connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The problems do not occur when Wi-Fi is switched off and the laptops are connected via Ethernet cable. The problems do not occur when the laptops are connected to our Wi-Fi network at home which is serviced via a faster fibre connection with another ISP.

Any ideas on what may be going on here and where to look for a fix?

Looks like this was the issue. As I read your post, and the PN link, I was on the verge of swapping out the PN Technicolor Router for a Billion 7800n I had sitting around.

Doing that seems to have sorted things.
