Nothing was mentioned on my assessment day about a temporary contract? Was it mentioned on yours ? I think you and one other are the only one who have mentioned it. It is also likely to be local to your application area if it is!

Yeah the guy giving the presentation mentioned at the end we would either be offered permanent ones or 18 month fixed contract ones.
He couldn't say what contracts where being given out because HR decide apparently.

Hopefully after all this it's permanent and not temporary!! Although they may still keep you on at the end but it's not really what any of us want. Especially if like me you leaving a job you've been in for 20 years!!
I would have thought anybody offered a temp contract would have said, fingers crossed buddy and a contract would be nice about now don't you think!!
Where and when was your assessment?

I did mine in Essex on the 2nd and temp contacts weren't mentioned so this may just be in your area if at all!
I'm recruiting for the Norfolk area!

Done my assessment on the 21st of September. So been waiting a while. As for the contract length, I can't seem to find anywhere the length of time it's for. Just says 12 month probation in which they can give you your notice at any time if you don't meet the satisfactory performance.

Ah okay, I done mine a month after yours so I'll prepare myself for another wait!

If it doesn't state otherswise I would assume it's a permanent contract eh, probation period is to be expected too, we will just need to keep or noses clean lads laugh
