Yeah it was only mentioned during the presentation and he said your more than likely to get a permanent one, but its something he had to let us know.
Probation period is standard like you say keep your nose clean and "go the extra mile"
I had mine in November its only been a few weeks but feels ages already!

The waiting is starting to get boring.
I wonder if they're ploughing through them according to when the interviews were as these I believe were set up by areas of employment. As there were 4-5 from my area on the interviews held on my batch.
its starting to feel like next week for the next batch to hear was hoping to maybe quit and get Christmas off!!

I did think that but I think there are 3 different levels if check so didn't do it plus we could be put in for a start date in march so no gain if that is the case. Others on here state it only takes a week to get back, anyway references may be the time taker for some people.

I think they must be doing it in order of the date people where interviewed, that's what I can gather from what other are saying. I was hoping to give my notice early december and start the new job early January.
either way its hard waiting haha never checked my emails so much!

I thought the same about how they are ploughing through the candidates! The only ones to be told a start date so far appear to be those in September sift!
We still may have the weekend yet as it looks like they are awaiting response from those told their start date first as otherwise we would have something to occupy our minds rather than just checking our emails. At least this forum gives us something to do and appears to disclose more information than we have been told by Openreach.
Looking at the e-mail we received on the 14th stating hearing within a couple of weeks gives them till possibly the 30th before getting a date unless they have a different definition of a couple of weeks!
The wait continues!!
