I asked the question about the disclosure Scotland once I got my email saying I had passed and was told to wait until the pre employment checks.

As you guys say this forum has been a lifesaver, been checking here for any movement and emails on a daily basis

I've been reading through the other forum that was mentioned on here and it was quite off putting. Had to tell myself it has to be better than my old job surely. My previous manager was very hard work. No talking etc, old school type.

Anyone know anyone working the job that can shed positive light on the stats side of things?

It seems a lot of people on there are old timers that are not adjusting to the the new changes.
the thing is these days your always going to have an [censored] manager somewhere within a company. if you get your head down and show you can graft you'll get on fine from what I have read!

Yeah I did get that from reading through various posts. Some of them seemed quite positive about encouraging. I've been fortunate to have good manager that recognised my hard working ethos.

I was able to look past the negative and look at it from the don't want to pass and regret angle it as I've always wanted to do this job. Taking it all with a pinch of salt make my own mind up on the job once we start

Yes same here

mine says nothing. i didnt dven have a current application. i applied 20 months ago and there were no jobs in my area then. hope something apears on it soon.
