Remember about 15 years ago if a customer was complaining of slow speeds on their dial up, getting about 5k out of their 56k modem, it would usually mean they were on DACS. Customer Service would look at the billing history for the other customers off that DP. If there weren't loads of 0345, 0845... numbers it meant they didn't use dial up. A DACS rearrangement would be carried out and the customer complaining of slow speeds would be taken off the DACS and would start getting blistering speeds of around 44k laugh laugh

I bet it's a relief to have confirmation that they have your application mate. Bit of a bummer you'll need to be patient through to the New Year.

I bet that was a surprise, I guess it's something to look forward to in the new year getting a confirmed date.

tbh its annoyed me a bit, im not a fan of waiting around, i applied summer 2015 itll be about 2 years by the time i start. cant be too hard to find me an area its not like i live in a unpopulated area i live in the centre of birmingham and the 40 minute drive rule takes in a lot of towns (all the way to yarnfield which is 38 mins away).
I hand in my MPhil thesis on thursday so i thought id timed the job well, i dont wanna sit round unemployed for 4 months.
