Ah, this is true mc31.
I remember about 15 years ago BT spent millions finding out if their brand was 'strong' (the piper logo). The outcome was that they did indeed have a strong brand that was instantly recognised ... Couple of months later they changed to the connected world logo (beach ball)?

Can't believe you've been waiting since a June Carver and we thought we had it bad! Especially since you've seen several intakes start the course. My fingers are crossed for you and hope you hear soon it mus be a good firm to work for as we must be waiting for people to die before we get a chance lol!

Im really hoping its a good company to work for, but the utter lack of info and job offer post interview is making me doubt it. we may start work for bt and be treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed ...

I agree.
Had a read through the first Openreach employment on here earlier looks like this is a regular position they put recruits through. It would look like they do interviews etc then allocate jobs when they arise rather than the usual of having the jobs waiting before advertising.
So it would appear we could be waiting for a vacancy first before a training course.

Yep feels that way! I was told on my assessment day there was a position for each one of us and not to worry about competing for it if they like you and your successful there is a job waiting. I am just hoping all this waiting is partly due to the Xmas season and organising training etc, although maybe not if someone has been waiting since July!
Cant wait for the day I come on here and get some good news or have good news to post!
