So did you pass the assesments last year?
If so were you told straight away that there were no positions available or is it very similar to this round where your left waiting.

Getting anxious now!!

Hi,

I am pleased to say you were successful at passing the assessment centre, well done!

Unfortunately at the moment there are a limited number of positions available in your area and they have gone to other candidates, so for the moment we are unable to offer you a position.

However we will be in touch if and when this changes to see if you are still interested.

Im sorry we havent been able to find anything for you right now and if you have any questions please do let me know.

Kind Regards,
Laura,

Hi All,

I have found this forum really useful and have listed some of the places mentioned where Assessment Centers took place.

Edinburgh
Glasgow
Southshields
Exeter
Swansea
Oxford
Essex

Given the number of people offered jobs, it would not be unreasonable to assume that some of us are going to wait into the summer to start.

A few people have mentioned they are unemployed. If it is of any use, Manpower Recruitment are looking for temporary engineers £22k to modify tumble dryers. It is one weeks all expenses paid training in Peterborough, you get all tools, uniform, a van and laptop. It is only one weeks notice so when BT actually have a start it is easy to move on.

I pass this on in good faith, as some money is better than nowt.
