The £60 a day pay whilst training is advertised in said advert i have mentioned. I think it goes up to £100 a day once trained but dont quote me. I also dont think we will all be contacted befor month end. 1 week to go! Good luck all!

If you get to a good standard you earn more working for Kelly's as you get paid per job. Only problem being a contractor is there might not always be the work available.

We've been told to be conscious on spending as its coming to end of the financial year. Budget starts again beginning of April and may be the reason why you guys haven't heard anything yet.

My advice, whilst you are waiting is to do your homework. Look up the basics like wire colours for different cables, JDSU on youtube tonsee what the tester does and the functions. Trust me all this will benefit younin the long run. Theres a lot to take in during training and once you are out on your own even more to learn.

Poor so and so! (calling you a Bug£$%, is a censored word!)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who still gets excited by the postman making a delivery unfortunately its done by e-mail.
Any decent offers from BT? Getting bored now.

Hi all! In the same boat, I passed the assessment in November, still awaiting a start in Newcastle. I didn't get the last email you all seemed to get though.

Margie was my POC, then she emailed in December to say it was changing to Vincent Jones AKA Vinny Jones.... Not him...

I've heard nothing since.. I think he has gone off sick. I've just emailed Laura Daley today to see if there is an update.

I work for EE, which is now part of BT. I have to say though it is a little unnerving the lack of communication. I really feel for you guys out of work and waiting.
