I saw that, and suggests a temporary fill of a hole is to be made perfect and keep the council happy going forward, i.e. colour match and smooth edges so not a trip hazard or eyesore

Looks like the work on my cab is going to be started on 20 Feb according to roadworks.org

A brand new shiny cabinet is now in place approx., 26 metres from the original.

Anyone know approximately how long from completion of cabinet to being able to order FTTC?

Why never the cabinet is up and power is connected.

Has the fibre been terminated?

They have only just finished the cabinet today.

So the fibre may not be terminated. If there's problemaic ducts it could take a long time to clear them.

On the other hand, it could be ready in a couple of weeks.

Keep an eye out for the lock on the cabinet changing to a silver one. Once that silver lock is on, the cab will usuall be accepting orders within a few days.
