Re: Fibre cable tied to pole?

Sorry, yes, I was just about to edit it.

There's Roadstar Transport at Wolvey Lodge, The Square. But the few I've checked all have good FTTC, as you say, and I don't see any of those with FTTPoD available. So it looks more like a leased line as others have suggested. Maybe the post office?

Several possibilities, but unlikely to be FTTP . Larger doctors practices may still use leased lines but most of the smaller ones probably using broadband services where they have good connections.
Likely to be a leased line for something, possibly a roof based cell site or a PIA order

Hi,

About a year ago our village got enabled for fttc via bduk.

Recently OR have attended the pole outside my house and left a big loop of fibre cable/trunking (thick black cable with yellow stripe) tied to the pole. I assume this is for fttp....however everyone served by that pole can already get fttc.

Any ideas what bt might be upto?

Will just be a business Ethernet circuit (leased line).
