just open them in paint and resize them

They are job specific but I found it being my first interview of that type more daunting than face to face.

'm not worried about pole climbing its what I do everyday of the week in my current job climbing ladders.

Climbing ladders and climbing poles are two different things.

Damn straight 31.... it's eased a tad with the new bod at the helm, but the past couple of years had been most stressful.

i hate heights, luckily the area im getting assigned to has very little poles

Even if you don't climb poles there will still be ladder work.

When I started if you couldn't climb a pole satisfactorily then they didn't keep you on. (This may have changed I guess.)

The first pole I climbed was on the snowy training field in Croyden TEC. Keen to get it over with, and show off a tad to the others and a handful of existing frames staff being taught to climb, I volunteered to be one of the first pair up. Having successfully reached the working steps and put the pole belt round (we 'free climbed to the top then, no fall arrest lanyard) the trainer shouted up to lean back into the belt, hands free, and make ourselves comfy for ten minutes, I rolled a fag ....

If you can't do heights is this really a role for you ?

Climbing poles is really safe. Ladders tied top and bottom. Lanyard to stop you hitting the ground if you fall. The dangerous bit is working at the house end!

probably not, but having spent the last few years single handedly creating a new telecoms protocol for smart homes ive realised theres no one recruiting for that. and having a BEng in telecoms and years of mil comms experience theres not too many companies to go for. I dont have ucas points or civi hands on experience so im not what theyre looking for further up the ranks. A jobs a job so ill do anything not to go on the dole. Anyway i didnt say i cant do heights , i can i just said i hate them.
