No probs mate!

I never wore a waist coat but some people did so if you have one stick it on, don't worry about over dressing as this is your only chance of a 1st impression.

Mine was in October last year and yep was successful smile starting shortly

In reply to a post by eckiedoo:
Whilst fully appreciating and accepting the content of your posting, I have on one occasion encountered a Kelly employee actually driving a BT Openreach van, totally on his own.

He told me he had been asked by BT-OR to do certain tasks, which Kelly don't normally carry out; resulting in his being given the BT-OR van, which had the required equipment on board.

Though I've never come across this in my many years I'm sure it would be possible for BT Fleet to loan a van to Kelly's for an agreed period of time. As I say though I've only ever seen BT employees in a BT owned van!

In reply to a post by eckiedoo:
To enlarge on your comment on "dropping off children".

As well as BT's general rules, I suspect that the corporate vehicle insurance does not cover such as aspects, so it would be Null and Void if the van is used that way.

Leading to all sorts of complications etc.

Indeed, can confirm I was always told this is the main reason they're so strict on this. The insurance only covers them for BT employees to drive and be passengers in the van.

Hi guys,

Just received this email,

'We wanted to get in touch to let you know that we havent forgotten about you. We're still considering your application for vacancies where you live, but as yet we cant book you into an assessment centre.

As previously advised we cant invite all candidates to an assessment centre but we will inform you either way if you have been successful in making it to the next stage. If your situation has changed and you're no longer interested in an apprenticeship at BT, please let us know so we can update your details.

We will give you another update in two weeks time but if you want to get in touch before youve next heard from us please do you cant reply to this email but as a reminder our team email address is [email protected]'

Best wishes
BT Recruitment Team

Not sure what to make of it, getting worried I may fall at this hurdle! Anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance for your replies guys.

Not sure really mate, sounds like they are just waiting on jobs in your area to become available, I wouldn't get too down hearted just yet, read through this forum and you'll see that sometimes things can be drawn out due to the sheer number of applicants. Just keep the head up ang hopefully you'll get the call sooner rather than later.

Is anyone on here going to be based in the Scottish Borders?I'm going to be based at Kelso (1/2 hour drive from my home).

How far are others having to drive every day to their exchange?

Hoping will get my van home every night
