Just had my travel details through.....roll on 8th May been a long time since first applying....1 year to be exact lol

Nice so its starting to feel real now I guess, for me its probably around a year but most of that was simply waiting on a mailing list till they opened up the application process again.

They haven't bothered to collect references yet as far as I know and I sent them my Scottish Disclosure but no confirmation from them that they received it. I even put a request for read receipt in the email but nothing from either party I sent it to two separate recipients. The one it said to do so on the tasks and also to a guy that sent me my additional tasks and as I say no reply/acknowledgment from either.

Currently I haven't handed in my notice as I only have to give a week but I really wanted to give more than that provided they have their references. I know the references will be good but still can't help feeling like I want to hold on to my notice till Openreach say all is good lol.

I would imagine you'll be at some point today, he said he's got a fair few names to get through! As it stands, it'll be Mon / Tues in a hotel, then on the yarnfield complex for the rest of the week, also confirmed that we take delivery of the vans on the Friday.

And its two weeks at Yarnfield now,nice 4 1/2 hour drive home on the Friday then back again on the Sunday!

its 30 minutes for me. i was hoping to take my car, wondering if i can leave the van there?
Its gonna be stressful im finalising my MPhil hand in, getting married and moving house during the course lol.

So where you guys originally told just 1 week at Yarnfield and they now changed it to 2? Im wondering if this is the same for everyone. The info on their recruitment page says it will be 2 weeks at Yarnfield but I was told 1 week there and the rest at Bolton.

Since doing my tasks an then being asked for licence an photo I've not heard anything start date is 22nd may I logged into bt telo but there is nothing on there is there somewhere else we can log into ?
