Yeah some people wore track suit bottoms, dress code is relaxed on the first day then you'll get your uniform.
There not much to do other than drink or sit in your room with the free wifi, we are in a hotel first week so abut different to staying at Yarnfield.

They've not told me which hotel yet, had an email with my train ticket confirmation on it, but nothing else attached. I'm guessing all the info will arrive via post with tickets hopefully.

Hi Guys,
I have my BT Assessment Centre tomorrow at South Shields for a Trainee Openreach Engineer. Is there anything I should know about before tomorrow?
Thanks

Have a look back further into this thread and you'll be well prepared for what's to come.
Dress smartly be yourself and you won't go far wrong. They will see through the B.S so be honest but give it your all. Very best of luck. 2 interviews maths and English test both timed 40 mins, plug test yes just wiring a plug and colour blind test. As I say have a look back through this thread and any questions you have are likely to be answered but if not there are plenty of us happy to help if we can.

Thank for the advice, Do you know if the wiring plug test is timed? Or is it quality judged? and the Maths and English tests, are they pretty basic? I'm in Sixth form at the moment so it wasn't too long ago since I did Maths and English.
Cheers.

Wiring of the plug us timed but you get 20 mins just take your time it's not technical and there are instructions just wear the Safety wear. Maths and English is just to figure out you level so just answer as much as you can ( aparently the assessment has change since some of us attempted it)
Good luck and try to relax get there on time and don't panic be yourself!
Just brush up on who Openreach are and what they do, most information you would have been given.
They seem to be health and safety and customer service orientated not so much on the technical.
