Hi All,
Just a wee query for you. I'm currently with Sky on their Fibre Pro package and get a solid 79999 down and 19999 up. I'm considering changing ISP and was wondering if these rates would be maintained?
I'm a bit wary of changing as BT offer an upto 76Mbps, do they cap the speed at this, or will they allow the line to hit the speed i currently receive?
Cheers!
If you look in Sky T & Cs (
"Here's the legal bit", you will find, (my bold):
Sky Fibre, Sky Fibre Unlimited & Sky Fibre Max: Availability subject to location and survey. £39 standard fibre activation fee. Maximum home download speeds: Sky Fibre and Sky Fibre Unlimited - up to 38Mb; Sky Fibre Max - up to 76Mb.
Just like BT. You've nothing to worry about on that count, but whether throughput, the real life speed, will be the same only time can tell.
