No it's not there - All references to bearer have 0 - And for the final stupid question, is G.INP liable to be applied at some time? Is it because the modem was not G.INP enabled? I assume there is nothing I can do about this. I do know it�s a Huawei cabinet as I�ve been in it when the cab lost the plot in the summer & needed a new card, had a cup of tea with the OpenReach men after midnight, you can see how far the cab is away as my cat was in the tent with the OR guys.

Yes, it will be applied some time when DLM gets round to it, as long as it's a Huawei cab. Which exchange are you on?

According to a G.INP guide at https://www.increasebroadbandspeed.co.uk/g.inp, "It is possible to tell that G.INP has been implemented from your modem statistics, [. . . . . . ]. You can detect the existence of G.INP if the INP (DMT symbol) value is set to 48.0, with an interval depth or 8 or 16."

So my stats show B1 as inactive but the INP (DMT symbol) as 48 downstream with an interleave depth of 8.

Am I reading the stats correctly and getting the message that Bearer 1 is inactive but also G.INP is enabled for downstream (as per the linked report and contrary to BatBoy's statement) or am I reading things wrongly and BatBoy is correct that Bearer 1 is inactive so G.INP cannot be enabled?

The Billion doesn't support xdslcmd.

As you have a line for Bearer 1, you have G.INP enabled.

If you want help with the stats, I suggest you look at dslstats and mydslwebstats

Hi: Exchange Chesterfield is served by Cabinet 87

I checked https://www.telecom-tariffs.co.uk/codelook.htm?xid=8... and your cab is indeed a Huawei, so G.INP will be no problem
