G.INP hasn't returned for me, I'm using the same cab and modem as you.

Since my switch to TalkTalk in September, no sign of it at all, just interleaving.

I am now confused. I have a Billion 8800NL. The GUI is currently showing:

B0 Traffic Type PTM
B0 Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps) 19999
B0 Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps) 75414
B1 Traffic Type Inactive
B1 Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps) 0
B1 Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps) 0


Bearer 1 is created when G.INP is activated, but it doesn't carry any end-user traffic.

Seems to have been a common issue recently on Huawei cabs from what I've seen.

Some lines have seen it disappear and not return and DLM seems to be going with interleaving over G.INP on new lines.

New lines and lines that have had a DLM reset don't start with G.INP. It's applied later.

When I first bought my HG612 and plugged it in, G.INP was enabled straight away by DLM. It then stayed on the line until I migrated to TT and hasn't been seen since.

What do you mean by "the latest firmware"? It should end in 30SP08, not 28SP10.
