Does not work as BT have IPv6 enabled now, and you cannot manually turn it off, hence the SmartHub will assign IPv6 addressed to devices as they connect it and there ends up no data throughput. The IPv4 ends up also messing up, with devices self assigning a 169 IP address (when you turn off DHCP on the Smarthub), and a SmartHub IPv6 address, so the IP of the main router is not even passed through.

Right folks this is a ethernet test. https://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/15131941664... Full speed, almost 76. Now the question is whats wrong with Wifi, its less than half and I've only got my laptop connected.
Have you got a DLink or a Huawei HG633? Throughput on the HG633 is known to be buggy, the best advice I can give you is to get hold of a Huawei HG635 on ebay for £20 or so, they pull the full speeds nicely.

Yes its the 633. I have never seen Wireless so bad, I went through each channel on 2,4 and 5ghz and it made no difference, highest I can get over wifi is 25mb, that's sitting less than 10ft from the router. I ordered a TP Link from Argos which should come today just to test if that makes a difference.

I am wondering if I should just cut my losses and leave, Talk Talk say there is a 20 day cooling off period from the date ordered, 20 days is up tomorrow, the level of customer service I got last night was shocking, they did not have a clue, I explained it was a wifi issue they simply would not deviate from the script, I phoned 3 times yesterday and each time it ends in turn the router off for 30 mins and try again.

Maybe be able to fix the wireless on their [censored] routers but they don't even admit there is a problem, they won't even entertain the thought.

I dont think they have a fix for it but a different Wi-Fi transmitter should do it. Which model tplink did you buy?
