Infinity, in all its versions, is no longer sold to new customers.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - AAISP Home::1 80/20. 200GB. Sync 01/10/18 - 71908/13506Kbps @ 600m. BQMs - IPv4 & IPv6

Yes, symmetric. Though I think it implied that perhaps it could be asymmetric above that threshold, but it was supposedly a minimum of 25 Mbps both ways. I could be wrong. Though that meant that even FTTC would be inappropriate. It wasn't passed into the final plan, but they have gotten FTTP on new builds.

BT have defied the laws of mathematics and have found that infinity is finite and the end of infinity can be reached.

I believe they may have copied a technique from the legendary Oozalum bird.

There is several new build OAP sheltered accommodation type homes round this way that are FTTP only. Many of the residents just take the FVA telephone service only, which is presented at normal telephone extension points throughout the flat.

They plug whatever type of phone suits them in and use that. The cost is the same as a normal copper based voice circuit .... so there isnt an issue to complain about at all.
