The cabinet should have a stencilled or painted number on one of the doors or the side or both. It should be two or three digits.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

Croydon 58 outside Emerald House. Have you reported it Openreach in any way?

Did you not notice the OPs signature, looks to be a Virgin customer. Hi Zarjaz, gave up trusting signatures as people don't keep them up to date so removed from my view via settings, I assumed (maybe wrongly) they were via the Openreach network because of the broadband speed quoted (12 Mb).

I reported a cover off a junction box at the top of a pole down my road, I sent a DM with the Exchange Name, DP number on the pole along with the road name with rough location and also attached a couple of photos of the issue.
Never quite get that. You sent some photos presumably from your smart phone, so why not send a precise location using the phone's GNSS?

It's actually better if you have the actual equipment ID (exchange/pcp/dp) as these are stored across openreach systems.
Of course with precise location info the same can be found.

Two or three digits ?
What about cabinets 1 to 9 on an exchange Bob, that would be 1 digit.

The sig is 10 months old, changed provider?
Actually my signature is bang up to date I'm proud (surprised) to say.
Virgin Media is provider and my home, postcode above relating to the issue is my work residence.

Because it if you don't do it at that exact moment, then you no longer have that information. Photo takes 2 seconds, getting an accurate GPS point in a city takes significantly longer

Well they were refering to the date you last did a speed test, so they were unsure if you were still with Virgin.
