Why this site will not have changed is that we are not using CDN so speed tests that may be getting files from CDN systems that have had the fix applied will be better.

Only once the fix is applied to wider traffic routes will things improve.

As RobertoS suggests it may be owned in the US but in use in the UK.


I had exactly that with plusnet: they'd bought an IP range from some US provider, and most geolocations were wrong even a year later.

Via iplocation.net on 63.130.104.198 ....

ip2location.net: C&W Americas, New York
ipinfo.io: Vodafone Americas, UK
DB-IP: Vodafone Americas, UK

Going off the PTR records the thn is telehouse north and the thdo is telehouse docklands so its just going to be down to the geolocation of the IP hasn't been updated
