That�s both cabinets been replaced. Going by the thinkbroadband stats, seems it was only down for 4 hours this morning. So quick work indeed. Seems the line is more stable, so hopefully the speeds will now increase as the DLM sees that.

Seeing the number of cables / connections inside both cabinets, how on Earth do they replace them in a few hours?

The PCP should be easy. The shell lifts off leaving the assemblies and terminations in place. The new shell goes over and the assemblies reattached.
The DSLAM is usually more involved and depends how much need replacing I. E. the root, base or just the cabinet shell. There would have been a whole team of openreach, civils and possibly DNO (power) on site to change everything over.

There was about a dozen folk, as you say from all companies. Pretty impressive, once they actually did attend to fix it.
