Well I have my first dsl fault in years, and was given an afternoon appointment, its now 4.30pm and probably going to be missed, If not here by 5, its extremely likely.
AAISP told me they not allowed to chase up until its actually missed which seems such a backwards policy.
I have read about compensation scheme from ofcom, which interestingly is voluntarily only from small isps and only a £25 amount, yet if I am not in when engineer turns up I pay more
The fact this scheme exists tells me that the no show stats are above an acceptable level, am I wrong? Is there any figures?
I cant then book a new slot till tomorrow which means at minimum two days between each raffle ticket on whether they show up with no means to contact openreach directly, and a requirement to sacrifice half a day each time because they cant give smaller time windows and/or use a engineer tracking system.
