Re: new guy on the block thinking ahead to FTTP

Have they even got IPv6 working yet?

Not only was there first (public-using) trial abandoned, but when I migrated to AAISP and got it I discovered the Plusnet operation was totally unrealistic. They provided a single fixed IPv6 address for the router with a separate login from your IPv4 one.

No mention of /56 or whatever.

What happened on the LAN I don't know, as I didn't understand the topic until I joined AAISP.

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G and at home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MF286D router giving about 113/20Mbps.

No, but neither has the bigger Virgin Media. Both useless at IPv6.

No. And it also took them a completely unacceptable amount of time to add tls encryption to connections on their smtp/imap/pop3 servers.

Oliver.

I'm with PlusNet and BT are currently working very fast round here to implement FTTP and Digital Voice. I'm guessing that this means PlusNet won't be too far behind, given they are an offshoot of BT anway.
Doesn't follow, particularly with DV! Also goes for EE.

BT's DV comes from a port on their SH.
