In the race to the bottom, I have to mention the Tech Guy from Currys that turned up at my in laws.... On the bus.

Depends on where they live! At one time BT actually gave some of their technicians in busy city centres bus/train passes as it was quicker to move between jobs and alleviated parking fines - they also had a few local fully stocked vans driving round providing the parts needed.


Although, I woul not put it past Currys to use that as standard.
