I wonder if any of those doing the survey have tried to switch recently?

How many of those surveyed are in a 24 month contract?

Like a lot of surveys, I question the "data". wink

I think the point is they didn't really try to switch.
The answer to the 24 month contract bit is 58% (between 18-24 albeit not necessarily at the start of it).

We aren't taking the data as fact but it does illustrate the interesting point about how people don't always switch very easily.
I had to go haggle with car insurance company to get £150 or so off smile

Please go add your comment on the news article btw.. we might be doing something in future to recognise frequent commenters (who don't spam) wink

I meant did the people organising the survey realise it isn't always easy to switch. wink

The point about the contract length was that a lot might be in a contract longer than the time the survey was "investigating". 24 month seems to be the norm now.

People don't tend to switch if isn't easy to do so. Many might not realise it is possible to do so and if/when they can do so penalty free.

OK I'll add comment, but it might not be clear judging by your reply. wink

It's true there are more complex migrations, but it's not a reason not to change even if it means cancelling/reprovisioning.
Fair point about timescales. smile

Cryptic message, I have noticed responses to news articles have nose dived since you removed the comment counters on the home page. Not a criticism just an observation.
