If you actually need and use these IP addresses, it is probably time to investigate moving whatever you are running to IPv6

I think the move to ipv6 make sense, with a small pain of redirecting the ipv4 addresses to the ipv6 ones for a short while and then decommissioning the ipv4 ones

Because we don't what the op is using the addresses for we can't say if a ipv6 only migration would work

Do we know what this is on AA ?. https://www.aa.net.uk/broadband/byoip/

Yes but, as I said before, they aren't your IP addresses so you can't move them and impossible to own that many as the block is too small to move.

You cannot move ISP and keep those addresses, end of.

You may be able to get new ones from the new ISP if they offer them: check their products.

The other problem is I pay for our phones calls (After using up the first free 1000 minutes ) to ADSL 2 isp But still pay BT for the copper pair.!
So I do not know who holds our phone number.
You probably have carrier preselect on your line, the people billing you for calls will know and can cancel that service.

Thanks all I have learned a lot smile

We sold the original business so I was hoping to keep them for another business idea we were thinking about, looks like we had them for 20 years so you get attached to them. frown

I now understand how that works with the phone payment = re 'carrier pre-select on your line' smile it worked out a lot cheaper with this isp promotion they had.

If using for SMTP mail from across the globe, then don't do this (too many mail servers are on v6 only networks). Also plenty of UK ISPs still don't offer IPv6 and many corporate networks don't have IPv6 egress. Does depend what the addresses are used for. Dual stack is sensible, single v6 stack is not (in UK/Europe/USA so far).
