Did the payment comfirmation show the correct item you had ordered ?

1st stop in any case, is to take the issue up with them. If you paid via CC if you get no success then try you CC company.

Thanks for the reply

Yes, the 'order confirmation', and then the 'payment processed' emails both showed the correct product.
It wasn't until today's 'oder dispatched' email that the product had changed

As you said, I think I need to talk to them about it.
Perhaps I should refuse the delivery, rather than signing for it...what do you think of that ?

Did the payment accepted email state an order number or name the model which you had ordered, or did it have the other item model?

The 'order / payment-processed' email had the model that I originally ordered:

This email is to confirm that your order (XXXXX) for the following has been processed and that payment has been successfully taken.

Item: Samsung SM204B 20.1" 5ms 'Gaming TFT' 800:1 (1600 x 1200) Black DVI ergonomic four-way adjustable stand: height, pivot, tilt and swivel TFT Monitor 3 Years Warranty
Qty: 1Cost: 189.99

This model number then mysteriously changed on today's dispatch email:

The following items have been dispatched for delivery and should be with you shortly.

1 x Samsung SM204BW 20.1" Widescreen 6ms 'Gaming TFT' 700:1 (1600 x 1200) Black DVI ergonomic four-way adjustable stand: height, pivot, tilt and swivel TFT Monitor 3 Years Warranty

Hard to say.
But you need to start talking to them to sort it out..... Before you recieve the package.... Maybe being out would be a good idea....
If not then I would take the package. But add when you sign it that you have recived the wrong item... Should be space for that on the form. Do not open it.
If they start saying about the product is no longer avaiable or that the price has increased then go to your CC co and get them involved, for reciept of incorrect order.
You may not get the item you want but should get your money back.

Thanks for the reply.

You're right...I could send it back, and probably get a refund.
However, I want to take advantage of the good price that I originally saw it for, as it's about

Agreed...I think I'll need to talk to them (after 'Googling' on consumer rights)

I'd love to get it for the price I thought I was buying it for.
To be honest, I'd feel quite disapponted if I only got a refund
