um why ignore me, I dont like scan because of all the faulty gear I've had from them. I not happy about the ops misfortune but I could see it happening before he ordered due to my own experiences.

..remembering that they try to blame ZoneAlarm for some of the faults on their system[s]. ??
ZA can be dodgy, yes, but to blame a working version?

the upgrade is ok, and thats not bad considering but the situation should not have happened in the first place as you say.

Now before wab moans at me again. My experience with their refunds department is one of the reasons I refuse to use them again. I sent an item back that was clearly faulty, I had two of the same item, one worked the other didnt, tried x amount of things and listed all the things I had tested in my email, sent it back and got the exact same thing back with the exact same problems, I then had to return it again at my own expense.

I thought Scan had got better, I got the bits for this P.C from them, but I had to return a video card back due to a problem with it, that was no problem they gave me a refund and I got another one from Scan.
Because I used their finance service, I was meant to get a check for the refund, so far 3 months after I still have heard nothing I sent an email to scan and they said they will chase it up, still nothing.

Time to get in touch again

>...but then it depends on how they handle it.

How do you mean?

afaik, they would be building me a complete new system - nothing from this PC at all.
I had also asked for a smaller case, the one they supplied is a bit too deep [front to back] - that helps with the cooling apparently?
at the end of the day, it doesn't fit lol.

Cheers for the links

Tbh I WON'T go with Kustom PCs, they used to be better than they are now - plus, their prices are over-inflated in the first place, *"Glasgow normally gets the lower prices before us [Ayr]" - Codswallop! to that lol.

*a quote by them to me one time I was comparing their prices with them

I'll check out the other sites you said about before making my decision, it may be wiser to get a full refund then get them to make a brand new PC with the upgrades etc - I definitely won't consider doing anything before it.

I'll just check the other sites first..
