Netgear EVA2000

I tried the Netgear support forum but it seems no post gets answered there and you lot will probably have a better idea of what may be wrong:

This is an odd one and specifically relates to the EVA2000, powers of deduction willing.

I have media served from a Vista machine using Twonky (latest).

The media is served to a PS3 and an EVA2000.

My network consists of a ST585V7 router, with one laptop connected wirelessly along with an iPhone and two machines connected wired along with the PS3 and the EVA2000.

The EVA2000 and all other wired machines (bar one) are connected to the network via Devolo HomePlugs, the other machine is wired direct to the router.

Now to the problem.

When watching media on the EVA2000, streamed from a wired machine using Twonky, if any of the other machines are turned on and connected to the network, the EVA2000 ceases playback and states that there are no media servers on the network.

Nothing will get it to see the media server apart from holding down the power button and rebooting, taking ages.

This does not happen with my PS3, you can stream media to it flawlessly and turn any of the other machines in the network on and there is absolutely no interruption to playback.

None of the other machines have any DLNA or UPNP software that could cause a problem.

Has anyone else encountered this "feature" of the EVA2000?
