Even my Blue-ray writer will read and write to CD

Thats cus they have 2 lasers in there, the blue one for well you know and the red one for dvd/cd

Which is proof to offer my fellow bikers that blue is faster than red.

True.

i remember a few years back when Blu-ray and HD DVD was launched, blue-ray players could not play normal DVDs and had to sort that out otherwsie I think we would be using HD DVDs now.

Shame really as i still think it was the better system, once again the better system loses, just like Betamax did.
