Changing Automatic Accoustic Settings on hard drives

Why is it near impossible to change these settings???

The only one ive been able to it on easily was a Samsung Drive via the Samsung own software.

How do u do turn it on for Seagate and Western Digital Drives?

AMD FX-4100 X4, MSI 990FXA-GD80, 16GB DDR 3 Cosair Vengence 1600Mhz, 6054.81GB Hard Disk Space, 1GB ATI 4670 HD PCI-E 16x Graphics, 850watt PSU.

The DOS tools section of the various Hiren's type bootable PE's usually contain several tools that are capable of this.

HD Tune Will let you change the AAM setting
