You lose! Those other sites have nothing to do with Amazon & MOBI is an eBook format developed by Mobipocket; .AZW is Amazon's format.



You are correct, I was just testing smile i clean forgot that AZW is amazons own format.
Still one big company that got too much control, can anyone else produce a e-book that will take AZW?

Yes, Amazon do auto store the books you buy from them, only, on their sites.


I will stick with the Kobo, just a shame the company was taken over by a Indian company, but i still think the Kobo is a better.

Yes, ManyBooks supply eBooks in AZW format while FeedBooks supply MOBI. I get most of my free eBooks from those.
