Overclocked / Won't Switch On

I tried overclocking my cpu and i think i have done something too it, the computer went to boot and then shut down, i've not been able to switch the computer back on since, have i broke something or is there life still in the computer?.

Have you tried removing the mains power cord?

Yeah removed the mains power cord, removed the motherboard battery, tried to clear the cmos and also removed the memory, put it all back and still won't switch on?.

If nothing is damaged reseting the bios should fix it. I am rather busy right now so google it or wait for someone else to reply with instructions on how to do that if you don't know.

Yeah i've done a clear bios and nothing is working still, so i take it something might be damaged?.

Disconnect everything (Both power and data cables) except one known good stick of memory, PS2 keyboard and monitor. If possible, fit a PCI graphics card and then try.

With power cable removed, remove BIOS battery for at least 30 minutes. Also short out the battery pins briefly in addition, this will make sure the CMOS is totally reset.

Really hope not, i have had everything disconnected for several hours now, gonna try it again shortly, i didn't disconnect the keyboard or mouse though, and i also left the monitor connected, would this matter?.
