PC headset sought

On my 4 year old Plantronics Gamecom 380 headset the ear 'muffs' are beginning to break up and occasionally come off.

I don't need anything fancy, certainly don't do gaming, need a built in mike, something with reasonable sound quality. Used mainly for speech though occasionally for music. The current ones cost the princely sum of £20 in January 2013.

Any helpful suggestions?

A 388 headset would be my replacement of choice, I was wondering if there were any others that were ok in that sort of price range.

Not thought of that, didn't even realise they might be available.

Though given that 1 ear cushion for the 780 is $4.95 (I can't find a price for a 380 ear cushion), the price for two plus P&P from the US is likely to be not much less than buying a 388 headset.
