It might help if you were more specific about what exactly is happening.

Can you list the steps that you have taken and what the results of each step is. (For example - did you connect the ethernet cable to the correct port, and did the LED then blink).

Also, it would be relevant to list the operating sytem that you are using and the browser that you are trying to connect with.

Are you using a PC connected with Ethernet cable?

I noticed some Arris routers use 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.0.1 for the user interface.

Which model of Arris router do you have?

That would appear (IMO) to be a very unfair accusation. Spam that points out how difficult it is to set up a particular piece of hardware wouldn't seem to be very efficient.

Most arris routers are cable modems sold in the US. (the virgin superhub 3 is made by arris). Just a thought that the poster may not be from the UK.

If I am wrong I apologise to anyone who may have been offended, but I have seen very similar posts (with a link to routerguide.org) that have turned out to be spam.

If the original poster is reading this I would be surprised, but just in case, the help you needed was on the page you linked to and for you to get any help people would need to know what was happening when you tried to access the login page.

NOTE: This was a question from outside the UK, which is obvious since that brand of cable modem is not used in the UK.
