PINK PICTURE. I5 WIN 11

[link to this post]

Suddenly, whilst in use my I5 Win.11 machine has developed a very pink cast on the normally very sharp picture.
I have checked as many things as I can, eg: Night light is off, all settings are normal.

When I boot the machine into SAFE MODE, The picture is once again sharp and pink cast free.

I have probably missed something obvious here?

Is there anything else I should check?

Thanks, I have tried every setting possible, and a couple of system restores. Still the same.
Looks like it is leading to a fresh install.

Rather than poke at all the settings you can think of, I would suggest that you try another monitor on the PC and another PC on the monitor. That should point to either the monitor or the PC. And before you do that, just double check the lead for the graphics. Are you using VGA or VGA and a convertor?

use ddu to remove the graphic drivers and when it reboots see if the pink cast is still there or gone and then reinstall the latest driver for your card be it intel, amd or nvidia

Something strange, I took a "screen grab" and saved it, I posted it to Google Drive.

When I view it on another machine, the picture is normal.

I think I have missed something here.?????

The screengrab is capturing the data before it is processed by the driver, so this is what you would expect. I think the suggestion to remove and reinstall the driver is the best answer.

It’s clearly not the hardware or the monitor or cable as safe mode displays correctly.
