In reply to a post by Brunel:
Something strange, I took a "screen grab" and saved it, I posted it to Google Drive.

When I view it on another machine, the picture is normal.

I think I have missed something here.?????

are you using the same monitor for the other machine?

if not and its a different one, try

a) connect the affected machine to the other monitor with the same cable
if still pink
b) swap the cable with the known non pink machine
if still pink then its a software issue/hardware issue

first try as i've already mentioned - ddu.

Do not roll back drivers .

if its still pink. Then if the graphics unit is a discreate unit swap the graphics into that known working machine. Make sure it has equal or greater wattage than the affected machine

Some other ideas, but first check night light is off. (usually orange colour, not pink).

Then you could try this:
I had this problem reported on a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620, where typically grey areas were showing as pink and slightly off coloured whites on the laptop screen. If an external monitor was connected then then the colours returned to normal on both screens. Unplugging the external monitor and the laptop display returned to grey as pink and off colour whites.

This was found to be due to "Automatically manage color for Apps" being enabled on that laptop...

The SOLUTION: in this case-

System > Display > Advanced display > Automatically manage color for Apps (Toggle to Off)

"Automatically manage color for Apps (Toggle to Off)"

Thanks, this "feature" does not show on my desktop machine.

it asks to to request access.....

the rx 560 is now a very very old card.

Can you try a selective boot - and see if any of the programs on start up is causing this issue

PINK PICTURE. I5 WIN 11

A simple and easy solution?? I have removed the graphics card, and gone back to the M/B H.D.M.I. port.

This is adequate for my needs on this machine.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
