Useful software

Wasn't sure where to put this as it is not really a Windows issue. My UEFI boot menu has become rather large on my Gigabyte motherboard after testing my backup strategy with Acronis and Macrium Reflect.

Various multiple boot entries have appeared in the UEFI boot menu and my OCD wanted me to clean it up.

I have found two ways. One in Linux and one in bootable Windows.

The Linux way is to get a Live USB of Ubuntu/Solus boot up into the test environment and open a terminal then with the command 'sudo efibootmgr' to list all the boot entries in UEFI and using the command 'sudo efibootmgr -b 3 -B' again in the terminal you can remove boot entry number 3 or change the number for other entries.

The other way is to find a bootable EasyUEFI USB ISO and boot from it which provides a graphical way to manage the boot menu.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
