Do Hyperoptic install to individual permises?

...or only to blocks of flats?

I just registered my interest, as Openreach seems to be doing very little in terms of futureproofing, and their FTTPoD quote was hilarious at best. However the coverage map seems to show blocks of flats or business premises only.

They also install on new build estates (incl houses) but there aren't many compared to their bread & butter MDU installs.

They are doing mostly blocks.

I understand they are doing houses somewhere around Surrey Quays (SE16) though, and I understand that the per-flat installation fee (officially £40 but always waived) would be more there in bracket of 200-300£ to cover the extra cabling costs.

For them the problem with houses is the last 100 yards of cabling and placing their equipment. These could be overcome in gated developments if the community can allocate them some space for their switch, and the flats can be cabled via underground ducts. Surface cabling crossing other properties would not be acceptable, as no homeowner would devalue their property by signing a wayleave granting them access to their doorstep, and becoming responsible of keeping their cabling intact etc.

And business premises (as the original poster posited). Got service from them in Southwark in 2013 (once they'd "lit" Southbank (Colombo House) for Neo Bankside.

Handily we already had Openreach fibre on our floor back to said BT facility, so that was reused.
