NETGEAR N300 Extension for Hyperoptic Router

Hi All,
just trying to extend Hyperoptic 5Ghz via NETGEAR N300 WiFI Extender but didn't work as it's only able to extend 2.4 Ghz. Any advice?

That is because the N300 is an 802.11n standard only, you need an extender that supports dual band

thank you for your prompt response and advice. If I deactivated the 2.4Ghz and just kept the 5Ghz, Would the current one work?
I tried but the extender still unable to detect the 5Ghz, is there any certain setting to sort this out?

You need to buy a new box if you want to extend the 5Ghz. The N300 is not made to work with 5Ghz.
