Problems reaching _some_ websites

[link to this post]

Hi,

Is anyone else having problems reaching some websites; specifically, http://news.bbc.co.uk/ and _this_ website?

I'm only able to post here using an SSH tunnel to another server btw!

Its an odd problem though; I can ping and tracert to both the above web servers, but I can't view any webpages - they just timeout.

Tracing route to bbs.adslguide.org.uk [80.249.99.126]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms www.routerlogin.com [192.168.0.1]
2 34 ms 35 ms 36 ms telehouse-bb-gw1-vpdn.idnet.net [212.69.63.45]
3 32 ms 27 ms 33 ms telehouse-gw-bb.idnet.net [212.69.63.9]
4 * * * Request timed out.
5 25 ms 24 ms 26 ms gi0-2-10-star1.core-rs2.thdo.ncuk.net [80.249.97.9]
6 38 ms * 25 ms bbs.adslguide.org.uk [80.249.99.126]

Trace complete.

Any ideas? (I've not rebooted by router yet.... I doubt this is the problem, but if no one else is having a problem I will)

Cheers!

Peter.

Same here. A number of sites have been unreachable, could be a data center issue.

Strangely, it all appears to be working now. The problem had been affecting me for (very approx.) 1 hour prior to posting (+/- 30 mins!).

Yes, I saw it too. At this stage I'm guessing that a network attached to LoNAP was inadvertantly blackholing a lot of IP space. We've shut our connections to LoNAP for the time being and it seems like full routing has been restored.
