Because, as I've said on at least two occasions, there are others with more experience on the IDNet forum, and who will more easily be able to separate BT problems from IDNet ones.

Its up to him to decide which forum to post in, I don't care as I'll answer anywhere. Other people with disconnection problems have fixed it by migrating. The general approach is - try the master test socket, then swap the filter and router, then migrate.

And if it's a BT line fault, the problem will migrate with you.

True, in my case anyway.

My two previous suppliers would not take on board that the problems I was having had nothing to do with line faults my end, but were more likely to be network issues within the isp or btw system. The only way to prove that point was to migrate to Idnet, who sorted things out for me in quick time. So in my case migrating did solve the disconnect probs I was having.

I presume the OP has asked CS to help.

what a wate of fucing time people just fucing about iam happy with idnet but not cutting off at nite done a few things that people said but still same prob so i just phone them tomorr and bt to see if line is ok cheers for some help dudes

Constructive posts,whether critical or favourable, are welcome. Stupid recommendations that are likely to do nothing to assist a user with a problem are not.

That's my last post in this thread, I need to go and do something useful.

In this case, repairing a leak in the washing machine. No doubt your recommendation would be to migrate to a different tap.
